Welcome to Eagle Ridge Lodge |
|
|
Thank you for considering Eagle Ridge Lodge in your vacation plans. Eagle Ridge Lodge is Western North Dakota’s choice resort located in the heart of the Badlands southwest of Medora. The lodge was built in 2000 and 2001 and has only been open since May, 2001. Many folks from the world-over have exclaimed their enthusiasm about the hominess and peacefulness that surrounds the lodge, the spectacular views, and the marvelous dining that sets Eagle Ridge Lodge apart from all the others. The Lodge offers dining and lodging or just dining. Our room rates include candlelight steak dinners with complementary wine or beer and full, hearty country breakfasts for a couple. Those staying multiple nights receive different entrées each evening. Those folks choosing just to dine choose from steaks, shrimp scampi, steak and shrimp combo, and seasonal kabobs, stuffed pork chops and ribs. Luncheon groups are always welcome and are provided with wonderful lunches including specialty salads, casseroles, or perhaps a request that you may have of your own. Please remember all services are by reservation only! Central air-conditioning cools the Lodge in the summer months and in-room fireplaces make the cozy, romantic cold weekends the perfect get-away. Eagle Ridge Lodge is implementing a new format that is taking the direction of a “learning center”. Whether it is the planned and scheduled archeological trail rides with an extra-ordinary educational twist around the campfire or Joann’s quilting retreats, or the business seminars… those participating continue with life’s learning process. We are choosing to provide that unique experience with nature that we often take for granted. Yet, the visitor wanting to relax is most welcome and will receive the usual hospitality and comfort that has set Eagle Ridge Lodge ahead of all others. The lodge is decorated with many antiques and a very comfortable western décor. The seven bedrooms have both king or queen beds and all have private baths and fireplaces. The rooms with king beds have additional beds to actually sleep four persons each if needed. Beautiful badlands vistas from each bedroom capture the visitor into wanting a closer look, or perhaps a trail ride. A special feature that we are adding is a telescope for evening star and planet viewing. We have found this to be an intriguing experience. Whether you need lodging with great dining, or just our wonderful dining, or an experience with nature or history, Eagle Ridge Lodge becomes that awesome place to relax, learn, and enjoy the lodge and all that Western North Dakota has to offer.
