Welcome to Eagle Ridge Lodge |
|
|
Eagle Ridge Lodge became a reality
in May, 2001 after a whole year of construction. Oddly enough we have been
building ever since. We had a vision for the Lodge and it is now nearing its
final stages. Through the years we have grown and evolved our business so
that we are busy year-round. During the summer months, May
through October we welcome guests, adult reunions, anniversaries, couples,
friends and relatives traveling together from around the world. Often we rent
the entire Lodge to a group. People have been so kind and gracious
appreciating the serenity, quietness and the peacefulness of the Lodge.
Joann’s wonderful home cooking has been an outstanding draw. With each
night’s lodging we offer an evening dinner and breakfast that brings people
back to the Lodge time and time again. Usually the dinner entrée is steak.
Those folks staying multiple nights enjoy various entrées. All meals are
served buffet style and mostly chef’s choice comparable to a steak dinner.
Dinners include salads, home-made breads, desserts and complimentary dinner
wine. We also host dinner groups throughout the year by special arrangement. October through April has become the
time for retreat groups. Quilters, scrap-bookers, church groups, corporate/business gatherings
keep us busy on the weekends. They come from a 6-7 state area to have a
wonderful social time and enjoy putting their talents into creativity. Again,
they love the food and hospitality that has separated Eagle Ridge Lodge from
all the rest. We have seven rooms containing queen
or king beds, several having multiple beds to accommodate 4-5 people. Each
room has its own private bath, A/C, and fireplaces in several of the rooms.
The Lodge is decorated with many antiques, a country charm combined with
logs, fireplaces, Joann’s
beautiful hand-made quilts and a very comfortable,, western and
homey ambiance. A beautiful great room and large dining room overlook the
most spectacular badlands canyon. One can become engrossed with the enormity,
the grandeur, ever-changing colors and shadows that leads to a peacefulness
and tranquility. Most folks tell us our web site does not do justice to the
Lodge nor the hospitality that they experience. Joann
has decorated and created a Lodge that feels like your home. Visitors to the
National Park, the Chateau, the Musical, the Maah Daah Hey Trail and the beautiful badlands prefer the
peacefulness and the specialness rather than the
train and city noise of a generic motel. We want the personal contact with
those who would choose to be our guest; therefore, we do not post our rates
on the web. And, so often we can make arrangements to suit your needs that require
a personal contact. All lodging and dining is by reservation only. We do have
a strict no pet policy, except for service dogs. Come be our guest.
